I was trying to sell my iPhone on trademe and when I listed it they locked my account and said I had to send a photo of the iPhone with a current newspaper with the date showing.
This is what I sent them
So want proof I have an iPhone for sale.
Here is a photo of the iPhone with a piece of pumpkin that goes off soon. I'm going to make soup tonight.
Here is the phone with my flag referendum voting papers. That's pretty recent eh. I like the red peak. Better post those off soon.
Here is me with the iPhone at the milk part of the supermarket. If you zoom in you can see the date of the milk expiry.
I didn't want to buy a newspaper. That's why I have an iPhone. But while I was at the supermarket I snagged a pic of the iPhone with today's paper. Looks like Oscar Pistorius is in trouble.
Hope the date is clear on that one.
So none of this proves I'm not a fraudster it just proves I have access to an iPhone 5s. But I hope it is enough to get my account unsuspended so I can give someone the opportunity to have a merry Christmas with my old iPhone.
